I am currently a contract lecturer in Chinese Language and Literature at the Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna, as well as a teaching assistant in Chinese Language and a contract lecturer in English-Chinese Consecutive Interpretation at the Università Ca' Foscari of Venice, Treviso branch.

I am also an associate member of the LEO2T and LaboraTorio research groups on the translation of East Asian languages at the Université de Provence, Aix-en-Provence, and the Università Ca' Foscari of Venice respectively.

My main fields of research cover the work of Yu Dafu 郁達夫 (1896-1945); modern Chinese literature of the Republican period (1911-1949) and particularly May Fourth fiction; translation theory, analysis, and criticism; Chinese film studies. My PhD thesis "L’œuvre narrative de Yu Dafu en français et en italien : particularités, problèmes et stratégies de traduction" focused on the critical analysis of translation strategies adopted in the French and Italian translations of Yu Dafu's fiction.
