About

I am currently a temporary assistant professor and a lecturer in Chinese-Italian Specialised Translation at the Università Ca' Foscari of Venice, Italy.

I am also an associate member of the LEO2T and LaboraTorio sulla Traduzione delle Lingue Orientali research groups on the translation of East Asian languages at the Université de Provence, Aix-en-Provence, and at the Università Ca' Foscari of Venice respectively.

My Ph.D. thesis "L’œuvre narrative de Yu Dafu en français et en italien : particularités, problèmes et stratégies de traduction" focused on the critical analysis of translation strategies adopted in the French and Italian translations of Yu Dafu's 郁達夫 (1896-1945) fiction.

My main fields of research cover Chinese literature of the Republican period (1911-1949), translation theory, translation criticism, translation and ideology, and Chinese film studies.
